Evo 8/9 skidplate, rear diff guard FS

Alright, I know its been a long time coming but there has been some issues with work space that has required my Fabricator, Jeff to construct an entirely new shop. We are currently pricing out materials for the first batch of plates and will have final pricing by Thursday. Orders will be ready to be accepted next week. I know for a fact that the set will be under 1k but until I get a final from him I won't have anything more specific.

The set will include the front plate which will be 3/16 Aluminum. It will feature a cutout to allow for the changing of oil without the removal of the plate (the filter can be reached around the side of the plate with no issue). It will also have a front lip splitter/guard piece that bolts to the plate and can be ordered in whatever configuration you want- 90 degrees, 45 or 0, or anything in between for that matter. The plate also may be available with louvres for heat dissapation, it hasn't been needed on the prototype but we may add them to help in that regard. The other piece in the set will be a rear diff guard plate made of 3/16 stainless steel (the price on the stainless is actually what we are waiting for). this will offer protection from just about anything you might bounce off the plate out on the dirt or even on the highway- ice chunks in the winter can do some serious damage.

I will have pictures next week of the finished products- all shiny and professional- as opposed to the rough prototype. Due to the cost of Materials I would like to set up a group buy as opposed to doing orders piecemeal. We would like to order the materials for a set of 10 to be made. Of course this will bring the overall cost down as well as some manner of discount due to the fact that we are members of this forum. We are still mulling over shipping as to whether it will be free or reduced in price but I will have that information on Thursday as well. I won't have the official weight until tonight but my guess is around 30 pounds. There will be some additional boxing with the bracket near the front but weight will also be shaved from thatr piece and the other brackets. the front lip is not the final product as it was just there to test with. We will be finishing the prodcution unit and putting it on the car Thursday if the hardware (bolts and nuts) arrives and at the latest Next tuesday. Unfortunately due to the cost of materials we will have to have a $200 deposit. Once we get 10 orders the plates will be shipped 2-3 weeks from that day. I will have the pricing up later this evening but it is well under 1k for the set front and back. I will also have the pics of the rear plate up, hopefully on Thursday as they aren't on my camera. I will have the paypal for the deposit up shortly as well for those interested. The product can take a serious pounding. The scratch marks along the bottom attest to that. Since I've been testing not one dent or ding though. Let me know who is interested as I need to get 10 ppl together before he'll make the plates.
